📋 About Your Medication
Bliv offers both compounded GLP-1 medications prepared by licensed compounding pharmacies, and access to branded GLP-1 medications manufactured by Novo Nordisk (Ozempic®, Wegovy®) and Eli Lilly (Mounjaro®, Zepbound®). Your prescription will specify which type you have been prescribed. Pricing shown in this article applies to compounded GLP-1 medications. Branded medication pricing is determined separately through your insurance or pharmacy benefit. If you have questions about which medication you are receiving, please check your prescription or contact your Bliv provider.

What Is CareCredit?

CareCredit is a healthcare financing card that lets you spread the cost of your treatment over time. Bliv accepts CareCredit as a payment method, and new patients can apply at carecredit.com — approval is typically available within minutes.

The 24-Month Interest-Free Offer

Bliv offers 24-month interest-free financing when you pay with CareCredit for compounded GLP-1 medications. If your balance is paid in full within the 24-month promotional period, you pay no interest. Deferred interest terms are set by CareCredit — review the cardholder agreement for full details.

Understanding the CareCredit Processing Fee

CareCredit charges businesses a processing fee of 15.99% for deferred-interest transactions. Bliv passes this fee through to the patient at the time of purchase. Here is what that means for compounded medications:

Medication

Base price

CareCredit fee (15.99%)

Quick approval fee

Total with CareCredit

Compounded Tirzepatide

$599.00

$95.79

$25.00

$719.79

Compounded Semaglutide

$349.00

$55.80

$25.00

$429.80

The quick approval fee ($25) applies to all new patient orders regardless of payment method.

Is CareCredit Worth It?

If paying in full upfront is a barrier, CareCredit allows you to begin treatment and spread payments over 24 months at no interest. The 15.99% fee is a one-time charge at purchase, not a recurring rate. If you can pay in full with a standard card or HSA/FSA, that will always be the lower total cost.
