⚠️ Important: About Your Medication
If you purchased the compounded GLP-1 medication, The medication you received from Bliv is a compounded GLP-1 prepared by a licensed compounding pharmacy. It is not a branded manufacturer product. It is not Ozempic®, Wegovy®, Mounjaro®, or Zepbound® — which are brand-name medications manufactured by Novo Nordisk and Eli Lilly respectively. Compounded medications are not FDA-approved finished drug products, though they are prepared under federal standards by licensed pharmacies. If you have questions about this distinction, please speak with your Bliv provider.
What Is the Nurse Follow-Up Call?
Bliv offers a complimentary nurse follow-up call for all patients. This is a brief, one-on-one call with a licensed nurse who can answer your questions, walk through your dosing plan, address side effects, and help you feel confident about your treatment. It is not a provider consultation and cannot result in prescription changes, but it is the fastest way to get personalized clinical guidance on your GLP-1 journey.
When to Book a Call
A nurse call is a good idea if:
You just received your first shipment and want a walkthrough of your dosing plan
You are experiencing side effects and want guidance on managing them
You are unsure whether to increase your dose or stay at your current level
You have questions about injection technique, storage, or the medication itself
You have missed doses and want to get back on track
You want general lifestyle support — nutrition, hydration, activity level — to complement your treatment
What the Nurse Cannot Do
Your nurse follow-up call is a supportive clinical touchpoint, not a prescribing visit. The nurse cannot:
Change your prescription
Diagnose medical conditions
Authorize refunds, replacements, or shipment changes
For prescription changes, contact your Bliv provider through the patient portal. For shipping or billing issues, contact [email protected].
