Bliv offers both compounded GLP-1 medications prepared by licensed compounding pharmacies, and access to branded GLP-1 medications manufactured by Novo Nordisk (Ozempic®, Wegovy®) and Eli Lilly (Mounjaro®, Zepbound®). Your prescription will specify which type you have been prescribed. Compounded medications are not FDA-approved finished drug products, though they are prepared under federal standards by licensed pharmacies. Branded medications are FDA-approved. Your Health Information Is Protected
Bliv is a telehealth platform that handles protected health information (PHI) as defined under HIPAA (the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act). Your medical records, prescriptions, health history, and communications with your Bliv provider are confidential and are not shared with third parties without your consent, except as required by law or necessary to provide your care — such as transmitting a prescription to the compounding pharmacy that fulfills your order.
What Information Bliv Collects
To provide care and fulfill your prescription, Bliv collects:
Identity and contact information (name, date of birth, email, phone, shipping address)
Health history and intake form responses required for provider review
Payment information, processed through a secure third-party payment processor — Bliv does not store complete card details
Communication history through the Intercom platform, which powers our chat, email, and support functions
How Your Information Is Used
Your information is used to facilitate your medical consultation, issue your prescription, fulfill your order, and provide ongoing patient support. It is not sold to advertisers or marketers. It may be used in de-identified, aggregated form to improve clinical protocols and patient outcomes.
Discreet Shipping
All Bliv shipments use discreet outer packaging that does not identify the contents or indicate that the package contains medication. The return address will reflect the dispensing pharmacy or a generic fulfillment address — not a label identifying the nature of the medication.
Secure Communications
Your patient portal at app.joinbliv.com/login uses encrypted connections (HTTPS) for all data transmission. Provider communications through the portal are secured and not shared outside your care team.
